Vapor Emission Testing

Newman's Flooring Services can perform vapor emission testing of concrete subfloors to determine the amount of moisture vapor emitting from them. This testing has been required by manufacturers prior to installation of any flooring material which is to be adhered directly to a concrete surface, or by any flooring material which has adverse reactions to excessive moisture amounts, such as wood and laminate floorings. This testing is performed in accordance to ASTM testing procedures F1869, and/or E1907. We can provide an unbiased evaluation as we have no ties to the manufacture, sale, or installation of the flooring that has been selected to be installed. As stated we perform this testing in accordance with ASTM standards which are recognized in court and we use the proper amount of tests for the square footage in question. Upon completion you will receive dated, written documentation as to the results of the vapor emissions, readings of pH of the concrete surface, and suggestions as to any corrective procedures that may be required.
